Seller and service
Brindle Data Services is a trading name used by Carl Brindle, sole trader. AI performs file processing, checks, and routine messages. Carl Brindle is the legal seller. Human review is not included. These terms apply to business customers. They do not remove rights the law gives to consumers. If you buy as a consumer, contact us before purchase so we can confirm the applicable terms.
Orders and delivery
An order starts only when we confirm in writing the input, required output, fixed price, delivery date, and use of AI-assisted tools, and payment or an agreed funded milestone clears.
You confirm that you can provide the material and ask us to process it. We may decline files outside the published first-phase limits. We normally deliver within three working days after scope agreement and cleared funding. This depends on available capacity and working systems.
The service includes one correction round requested within seven days of delivery. It covers mistakes against the agreed scope. New fields, new files, changed source material, and changed requirements need a new agreement.
Privacy
Carl Brindle is the controller for business contact and order details. We process your name, business contact details, messages, order details, payment status, and delivery record. We use them to answer an enquiry, make and deliver an order, provide support, prevent fraud, and keep required financial records.
For an order, the lawful basis is performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before a contract. For lawful business-to-business outreach, the lawful basis is legitimate interests: offering a relevant business service. You can object to that use at any time. We then stop that outreach.
We use job inputs only to prepare, check, deliver, and support the agreed job. We will not deliberately use customer files to train a model, create a product, or make a public example.
This service phase does not accept personal data or confidential data in job inputs or deliverables. Do not send personal data, special category data, payment card data, passwords, or confidential material. Prefer a public URL or a non-sensitive sample at enquiry stage.
We delete source files, working files, and delivered files 30 days after you accept delivery or cancel the order, unless a dispute or legal hold needs us to keep them. We retain required financial records for at least five years after the 31 January filing deadline for the relevant tax year. We do not keep copies of job files with financial records unless needed for a dispute or legal hold.
We use AI-assisted tools in delivery. Current intended service providers are OpenAI for Codex, Google for Gmail, and Stripe for payments. Local Python and local artifact tools may prepare or check files. Cloudflare hosts this website and processes connection metadata, including IP address and request details, to serve and protect it. We will state the role of each provider and any relevant international transfer before accepting an order through it. Gmail is connected. Stripe payments will be offered only after the account is active and its business profile is complete.
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability where the law gives that right. Contact us using the details above. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk if you are unhappy with how we use personal data.
Refunds
If we cannot deliver the agreed output, we will give a full refund. If a delivered output has an error against the agreed scope, use the correction round first. If we cannot correct that error, we will agree an appropriate refund.
This policy does not limit statutory rights. Payment-provider dispute rules may also apply.

Tell us promptly if there is a problem. Include the order reference, the agreed scope, and examples of the issue. We will acknowledge the request and give a response time.
